Installation of Cooll’s adsorption heat pump at The Green Village
In February 2024 Cooll has travelled to Delft, where the testing grounds of The Green Village are located. At The Green Village, knowledge- and educational institutions, entrepreneurs, government bodies and civilians can research, experiment, validate and demonstrate their sustainable innovations.
KIWA certification for our heat pump
Cooll’s thermally driven heat pump containing our patented adsorption technology has been awarded the KIWA EU Type Examination certificate. This means our technology has been independently reviewed and approved on a wide range of safety aspects.
Cooll heat pump soon suitable for 100% hydrogen
Cooll is currently working hard on the development of its 100% hydrogen heat pump. Currently, two of our heat pumps are already operating successfully on a mix of hydrogen and natural gas in the unique GROHW project in Deventer (Netherlands).
A sustainable future for monumental houses
Cooll is demonstrating its thermally driven heat pump technology in a monumental house from 1910 in the center of Enschede (The Netherlands). It can efficiently be heated, even while it requires high heating temperatures.
Press release: Cooll raises € 3 million to make its super-efficient heat pump market ready
Cooll has closed a funding round of over € 3 million. This will allow Cooll to further focus on making its innovative thermally driven hybrid heat pump market-ready.
Dutch government boosts Coolls ambitions
On Tuesday 17 May, the Dutch government announced that from 2026, when central heating systems must be replaced, people will have to switch to a more sustainable alternative.
We believe this is good news for the energy transition because it is a short-term call for action.
Press release: Cooll’s heating solution of the future, tested in a house in Kampen
Cooll from Enschede is testing the successor to the high-efficiency boiler that saves 30% on gas consumption.
Saving on gas consumption is more topical than ever and can be achieved in various ways. By making homes more sustainable with insulation, but also by introducing modern heat solutions with a higher efficiency.
Cooll speaks on the website of GROHW
The GROHW website regularly features partners from the collective and this week it was Cooll's turn.
‘One in five homeowners cannot afford sustainability’
Cooll: 'Everyone should be able to participate in making their home more sustainable'
