An international consortium has been formed to position and market hydrogen heat pumps. Under the leadership of DeltaEE and Element Energy, the consortium has been formed, which consists of producers of heat pumps and central heating appliances such as BDR Thermea (Remeha) and Ariston, as well as suppliers such as SIT and Beckett. Part of this is a European subsidy application for financial support for the roll-out of gas heat pumps and hydrogen-powered heat pumps.
Cooll’s global ambition is to make its technology as ‘Cool Inside’ part of global heating solutions from various manufacturers. We also want all thermally driven heat pumps to be ‘hydrogen ready’ so that the technology goes further than saving energy in the short term, but also facilitates the energy transition in the long term.
